Our Solution
We pitched the county as a diverse, connected place where every city fully embodies the tagline and marketing message: Fort Bend County is Greater Houston's Finest Address. We pulled in one of our partners, Localintel, to provide a complete set of automatic data-driven tools to keep the Fort Bend website up-to-date without adding a burden to the EDC staff. This supportive data, combined with the website's visuals and content, tell a story that creates a strong and compelling message for website visitors.
The Website
The homepage immediately identifies the big things going on in Fort Bend County and the big stats that set them apart. We created a map that clearly establishes the cities within the county and in connection with nearby Houston. A well-organized sitemap and page structure make site navigation easy, so you can find the information you need in making the decision to choose Fort Bend County. This website also received an IEDC Excellence in Economic Development Award at the 2021 IEDC Annual Conference for their category.
