Solano Transportation Authority
The Solano Transportation Authority (STA) coordinates countywide
transportation programs and delivers projects under a joint
powers agreement between the cities and the county. It develops
transportation plans, operates elderly and handicapped paratransit
services, operates Solano Napa commuter information and allocates
various state, regional and federal transportation funds.
The STA is governed by a board composed of a representative
from the county board of supervisors and the mayor from each
of the seven cities within the county. The Board meets monthly
in Suisun City.
